In October 2019, State Minister Dr. Florian Herrmann travelled to the South African partner regions Western Cape (Capetown) and Gauteng (Johannesburg). In addition to numerous discussions with political representatives, the signing of the “Action plan Bavaria – Western Cape 2019 – 2021” was also on the agenda. The exchange with the partner region Western Cape is particularly lively and a great benefit for all – also through the cooperation within the framework of the network of partner regions.
